Description

a fantastic drawing Collab I did with a good friend :icondeadlyobsession:. I did the big dragon on the left, the outline of the mountain and the green dragon in the BG. D.O did the dragon on the right, and well, pretty much everything else but it was just fun to be able to draw something with an artist friend ^^.

This actually looks pretty good, especially for amateur digital art, however the two green dragons DO look like they were drawn by a six-year-old. I'll admit if it were just the pink dragon, you'd be fine. However some of those clouds you've got look a lot like your mountains and- wait, what is that on the side of that volcano with the world's puniest lava flows... Is that black stack of twigs supposed to be a tree? Dear god! What have you done! That... That doesn't even LOOK like a tree, that's just a couple of black lines! Did you draw this out on paper before coloring it on your computer?

Well... You tried I'll give you that much. Now about those art lessons, how soon do you start on that? See, what you should try doing is some sketching, not your run of the mill everyday ordinary doodles in the classroom, I'm talking about looking at something, and trying to draw it the way it is in reality. Try your hand at that, scan the results and post them in your gallery.

Seriously though, you should work on your backgrounds and your pre-painting sketches. If you don't know what a pre-paint sketch is, there's your problem. If you sat through all of this negativity, I congratulate you, not many people respond well to criticism.
